Nigel Pearson will reach his 500th game as a manager on Saturday, as his Bristol City side take on QPR.

During a varied and successful career in the dugout so far, Pearson has managed Carlisle United, West Bromwich Albion (caretaker), England U21s (caretaker), Newcastle United (twice as caretaker), Southampton, Leicester City (twice), Hull City, Derby County, OH Leuven, Watford and Bristol City.

Pearson has won the Championship and League 1 titles, one Championship manager of the year and seven manager of the month awards, and has been part of four great escapes from relegation.
